Deutsche Grammophon has been documenting the artistic work of the Berliner Philharmoniker for 100 years: a special anniversary that we are celebrating with a limited edition of 50 CDs. Only from us, you receive this offer including a 7-day voucher for the Digital Concert Hall.

Almost all the great names are there – from Nikisch, who made the first recording in 1913 with Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony, to many major performances of the Karajan era, to the present day with Sir Simon Rattle and Gustavo Dudamel. The selection of recordings was compiled from an online vote by classical music fans. Among them are many which made recording history: Leonard Bernstein’s only philharmonic performance of Mahler’s Ninth Symphony, Claudio Abbado’s Mozart Requiem from Salzburg, Schumann’s Fourth with Wilhelm Furtwängler.
